Specialty page. I have been quite busy since I left Frederick...
Kim, Alyssa, Brynne, and I had a whirlwind holiday! After leaving Potomac, we spent Easter Sunday with Kim's
brother and family in Chestnut Hill, PA, went to the Jersey shore, jetted up to New York to take in Niagara
Falls, and stopped off in Colorado to take in the breathtaking views. Once we were home we put on the Northern California
French Bulldog Back-to Back Specialty weekend ... Sound crazy? It was... but well worth the trip to see everyone!
Our journey began April 6th and ended on April 23rd. A sincere THANK YOU to all who opened their arms and
welcomed us into their homes along the way ... John & Lori Bentine for treating me like I was in a B&B after
a very long drive out, Jon & Anne-Marie Forde for taking such good care of our critters while we spent Easter with the family,
Jilly Bean Ickowski for letting the whole clan bunk out and for showing us the beauty of Niagara Falls, and finally
Chuck & Lisa Zitting for taking in some very tired travelers and treating us like we were royalty!
A special CONGRATULATIONS and a very big THANK YOU to all of the members of the
Labrador Retriever Club Of The Potomac for all of your hard work and dedication to make this a spectacular event.
You are true representations of our wonderful breed!!!

Many of you may not know this, however, I was stalked by a gnome family while at this year's Potomac.
They believe that I kidnapped there father while exhibiting at the Puget Sound Labrador Retriever
Club Specialty in August of 2005. Nothing could be farther from the truth...
As they marched in one day at a time, their appearance at our van over the 3 days was a complete mystery.
I am amazed that they found me as their journey must have been a long one!
These crafty little men had a message for me as can be seen by the captions below them.
I can only assume they are responsible for some of the photos you see on this site as I have no
idea how some ended up in my camera. Theirs is the bad photography!
I see the them in my garden from time-to-time and avoid them at all cost! I believe they stowed away and
took the long adventure back to California. Where they hid we have no idea!
I was constantly looking over my shoulder at Potomac and continue to do so at home. I hope that one day
their father will return home so peace can be restored at Shadowbrook Farms.
If you know the whereabouts of Daddy Gnome, please send him home for Father's Day this weekend...
